Hi @officialcreativex
The syling of the card fields is usually handled by the theme.
I suggest activating the Storefront theme or a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty Three to check if the behavior persists.
If the fields are displayed correctly with these themes, I suggest contacting your theme developer to resolve this styling problem.
If the problem persists with these themes, another plugin may mess with the fields.
The Advanced Card Processing implements “hosted fields” that can be customized with CSS: https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-paypal-payments/#customizing-hosted-fields
I hope this helps!
Kind regards,
Niklas
We have not heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread as resolved.
Hopefully, you were able to proceed as advised above.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to reopen this topic or create a new one.
Thanks!
Hello @niklasinpsyde. Actually it was the Theme breaking it. Arcane isn’t compatible sadly. Just so you know.
Hi @officialcreativex
If the theme breaks the card field styling, it should typically still be possible to mitigate these problems with custom CSS (as linked above).
However, finding the right code that results in the fields matching your desired style may not be intuitive if the fields are all over the place. That’s why the theme developer is usually in the best position to ensure the theme CSS is not impacting hosted fields, which are mostly regular form fields (except the content is externally embedded).
We don’t have a copy of the theme you mentioned, but if you could share it with us, we could at least perform a few tests to see if we can offer a potential workaround.
But theme customizations are not something we can actively support as every theme may require some individualized solution, depending on the problem. So I cannot guarantee a solution, but if you are interested in checking it out further, you can send us a private message from here. If you do so, please include a link to this thread so we can keep track of it.
Thank you!
Kind regards,
Niklas
