Support » Plugin: Advanced File Manager » Advance don’t mean advanced all time! Copy sometime!

  • I used this plugin thought as advanced then the actual “WP filemanager” as the icon was same! but no it’s just a copy and worst than the original one. I tried to extract a wp.zip and this plugin fails a lot’s of time when the original one just did it in one try! waste of time. Shame on you.

    Hi Tuhin,

Before leave bad review you should create a support request if facing any issue. THIS IS NOT COPY OF ANY PLUGIN.
Its authors choice for naming of convention. You can’t say any thing about plugin name. WHY SHAME?
This is not a copy of any plugin. That And any one develop the plugin for wordpress. It is opensource. Check my plugin code and compare with plugin you said original. Both plugin using elfinder library.

    Thanks

    Hi Tuhin,

Have a look on this link
    https://studio-42.github.io/elFinder/.
I have not copied any plugin but using this library. If you have any issue with plugin then you need to add support request not a bad review. A bad review will make author uncomfortable.

    Thanks

    1. Yes I could create a support ticket but I didn’t cause that’s not necessary as I already had alternative that I am using for many days. Instead I have left a bad review here cause you misguided me using the name and icon and wasted my time.

    2. Yes it’s your choice to give a name of your plugin. But you are cleaver and intentionally chooses very same name of other plugin even used the same icon for your plugin.
That’s guided me to install your plugin. I saw the name I saw the icon and the “Advanced”. So I thought it is the newer and really advanced version of the plugin I am looking for. You wanted me to think like that by your plugin name and icon.

    3. Yes I am working with the other one for many days and have installed your plugin too. That’s didn’t work and wasted my time. So should I compare again ?

    4. Of course you can use same library for your plugin. But you can’t misguide users by choosing very similar name and icon for your plugin. I know which one came first so which one actually creative, working and which one is duplicate, misguided.

    5. “A bad review will make author uncomfortable. ” I know and I am really sorry about that. And you should think about other developers too! When you destroying other’s business by using same name and icon, that will make them very disappointed.

Its very strange, that only you was missguided by my plugin. I am wondering you have time to wrote lenghty texts on reviews of plugins. But not for support. Thanks
