AdSense Search Box code

Hello all,
I have changed my site from http to https. I followed your guide https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/how-to-setup-google-analytics-and-google-search-consolewebmaster-tools/ on google console and analytics.
I have an AdSense account. I would like to ask you if I should also change the AdSense Search Box Code from http to https?
To the box “What to search” I changed my site url from http://www.moreyouthfulskin.com to https://www.moreyouthfulskin.com, however the generated code displayed the http url, not https.
Should I add an “s” in the code or leave it as it is?

Hi Milada,
I don’t know AdSense well enough to say if the code can be safely edited manually. Once a site has migrated to SSL it can take a few days for Google to adapt, however I’m not sure if that applies to AdSense code as well. I’ve done some searching and found the following steps to generate SSL compatible AdSense search box code:
– Go to google.com/cse
– Generate your new Custom Search Engine code and add it to your site

Could you provide me with an AdSense code sample so I can take a look at what might need editing?
