Hi,
We regret to inform that presently, we could not find the exact location an ad is displayed. Could it be that you have fixed the problem or disabled the plugins that display ads?
One of coniditions for Google ads displaying is passing the size parmeter – it might have been necessary to change the settings of Google Ad display plugins (if they featured an option to change the size).

Yeah, I did switch plugins – the problem persists, but since I’m also running other ads (they rotate) that don’t have an issue, it would likely take a while to force the site to show a “half ad”. It seems to be an issue in the way adsense deals with the theme or vice versa. Adsense ads display fine on the main (home) page, but only show half the ad on single posts and pages themselves. Doesn’t seem to matter what size ad it is.
When I googled the issue, I found something about the “hook Parameter” in wordpress themes, which almost makes sense to me, LOL – I know where my weaknesses lie. I’m not comfortable enough yet playing around with the guts of the theme – I made a horrible mess of it once already, and it took me forever to fix, and I didn’t manage to fix it completely, so I’m hesitant to play around with it too much.
I don’t know if this is an issue you want to consider dealing with in future updates or not, but it is not posing enough of a problem for me to expect you to “fix it for me”, as I can’t be 100% certain that the problem is with the theme – I just can’t figure out what else it could be.
If I do figure out a fix eventually, and it does turn out to be a theme issue, I’ll let you know, though.
Thanks for looking into it for me.
Dear Les,
We apologize for the late reply.
We have examined the problem and discovered that Google Adsense ads are displayed on your website, yet some of these ads are displayed incorrectly, i.e. they are not completely shown. This occurs because some of these ads are displayed via an <iframe> tag, which displays the content of an external website, and there is no option to manage <iframe> tag content display settings on the target website.
We have made minor changes to the theme, which allow displaying <iframe> ads in the sidebar adjusted to match the width of the sidebar. However, in case <iframe> content will exceed sidebar width, the images also will not be displayed completely. This way, unfortunately, it will be impossible to solve your problem with incorrect display of some Google Adsense ads by changing theme settings. Possibly, it will be necessary to view and change the settings of the ads as such in your Google AdSense account.
The NewLife theme version v2.0.3 will soon be available for update on WordPress. Thus, we kindly ask you to update the theme, as other changes were made to the theme as well.
Also, please note that if you made changes to the theme files manually, the changes you made will not be saved.
