    Hello I have read that adsense integration is not an available option for free version any more. However, you suggest that we can use the custom code to make ads play.
    I have tried both to add the code to the custom code block and to hardcode the “single.php” file by adding Adsense script code right after

    <?php get_template_part( ‘related-posts’ ); ?>

    No Ads are displayed with any of the mentioned midifications.

    On the other hand I have added the AddThis social sharing code for smart layers either to the custom code block or to the “footer-top.php” file and the module is working properly.

    Are you blocking/filtering the adsense code on the free version?

    Thank you

  • Hello Click-Factor, have you tried to revert back to 1.9.8.9?

    Kind regards

    You can drop in the adsense js code into the custom code area in the WPtouch settings and the ads will be displayed in page footers.

    We can’t assist with custom modifications to the theme in the free version, copying themes and customizing them is supported in the Pro version however.

    Custom code area works fine for me, and display one ad at the bottom of all pages.

    If you want to add ads at the top (under the blog title), and use the default theme, look for wptouch_advertising_top and place your code below.

    Thank you people for our help.
    Finally I created a new mobile ad unit and passed the php code to single.php right before the related posts block. This way ads are displayed only on posts.

    CNXsoft thank you for your tip. Do you know how could I place an additional ad block above the fold and just for the home page?

    Thank you.
