    Hi,

Adsense is encouraging publishers to use AMP, it’s better, fast, more revenue etc… That’s true for the speed, for the rest i’m not sure, right now.

I decided to move to amp and changed my theme to twenty twenty and i removed analytics, and adsense code from header file, because it looks like Site kit handle this part. Please correct me if i’m wrong.

Now after 24h no ads are displayed on amp pages, but displayed on non-amp pages.

I’ve read that it will take days, i don’t understand why, but days it could be 2 days, 5 days, 20 days ?

What i want to say, is maybe to add a green light in the sitekit dashboard, that when detecting the amp official plugin and when the amp ads option is set to ON in adsense, will indicate that everything is well setup for amp adsense code, and you have nothing to do but wait 🙂

Also i have a question, when viewing AMP pages from desktop, what type of ads are displayed, AMP, responsive, none ?

Right now i have 0 ads displayed from any screen for AMP pages, and i have no idea why?

    Thanks

Thanks for reaching out. I understand your frustration in relation to delays for Auto ads for AMP appearing on your site. While we can unfortunately we can only address issues specific to the Site Kit plugin from my experience it usually takes a few days before ads do appear, providing your account and site is approved at AdSense level.

In the meantime while you’re awaiting ads to appear you could try manually placing individual ad units. You can use a plugin such as Advanced Ads or AdInserter to insert single ad units and display them based on various conditions and placements.

Also i have a question, when viewing AMP pages from desktop, what type of ads are displayed, AMP, responsive, none ?

You’ll find the ad formats available here. With the exception of vignette ads I suspect all other formats are eligible to be served from desktop, with anchor ad types possible only appearing on smaller displays. The product experts at the AdSense Help Center should be able to provide further information or confirmation.

Sorry I can’t be of more assistance. I will keep a note of this support topic also along with others who’ve brought these delays to our attention.

Just following up with you on this. I noticed you no longer have AMP active on your site. If you happen to reactivate AMP let us know and we’d be happy to assist.

My last test resume: Desktop – Ads appeared after 2 days waiting.
Mobile – Waited another 3 days and still no ads.

Thank you for offering your help, i activated the plugin again but this time on a very limited pages.
is there a way i can send you links to this pages ?

I can also submit another site health information form.

Sure, feel free to use the same form to share the URLs which you have AMP active on. I can once again keep track of these. While we’re unable to deal with AdSense issues specifically I can check whether I see ads from my side.

The ads on AMP are displayed now (starts 24h ago), i don’t know how this happened, but it’s working.
I’m using AMP transitional template mode for the moment.

Great to hear it, thanks for the update. From my side I can also see ads on your AMP URLs.
