  • Not sure Google likes that sort of practice, and they do love banning people. 🙂

    o ok

This pisses me off. There are a lot of people who fill their sites with relevant content, and who work to get traffic so they can get ad revenue – HONESTLY. Others use AdWords to promote their small businesses – it levels the playing field a bit for them. To post asking people to cheat, and to take money from other small businesses who have advertised via AdWords, is pretty low.

I find ads on blogs to be a huge turn-off, and I generally won’t read anything on a small site filled with ads. Unless you have a substantial readership, it’s just a waste of space and effort. I see sites all the time with Alexa rankings in the millions covered with ads, and they generally are the ones with the worst content. Why bother? Is 3 clicks a month going to make you rich? Concentrate on building a legitimate audience first and you might eventually have a shot at making some money off your site. Unless you have something worthwhile to say, no one is ever going to stay on your site long enough to click on your ads.
