    Hello,

    I receive the following warning:
    “AdSense alerts
Earnings at risk: one or more of your sites do not have an ads.txt file. Solve it now to avoid serious consequences for your income. reject ”

While in the plugin settings under Ads.txt it says:
The ads.txt file cannot be inserted because the URL contains a subdirectory. You need to make the file available on https://www.sviluppomania.com

    I use a multi language plugin Qtranslate-XT (https://github.com/qtranslate/qtranslate-xt/issues/701)

If I deactivate the aforementioned plugin the error in the Advanced Ads settings no longer appears. From the attached link, according to them qtranslate is not the cause but, the problem depends on how the file (Ads.txt) is generated by the plugin when combined with qTranslate-XT. It could also be a problem in how the file is read by the plugin, but they think the problem is rather the generation.

N.B. If you open the ads.txt file and find it compiled and because I added it manually, Google still reports the error.

    How can I solve it?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi sviluppomania,

    thanks for reaching out.

It is indeed possible that our ads.txt option doesn’t work with qtranslate.

Before I investigate I would kindly ask you to confirm if you have created the ads.txt file manually now or not. I cannot find it and want to make sure I understand correctly. If you placed it manually now then the problem might be somewhere else.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

I entered it but I deleted it. Because I wish it was generated by your plugin.

    Hi sviluppomania ,

    Thanks for your feedback.

I only heard about the qTranslate-XT fork now and looked into that plugin. Unfortunately, I am not able to say how many of our users are using it and if further things might break since it seems under heavy development. This is why I am not going to work on an integration for the time being.

I am sure that it is just the nature of both plugins that the ads.txt feature doesn’t work out of the box and there will be a solution at one point in the future.

As for now, I would kindly ask you to place the ads.txt file manually and disable the ads.txt feature in Advanced Ads.

    Thanks for understanding!

Sorry, I don‘t understand the last part of the question.

The solution would be to upload an ads.txt file where you have the AdSense information added according to the example given on this page. Just change the publisher ID in the example with your own.

    Best regards,
    Thomas

hi @webzunft , can we talk about an integration of Advanced Ads with qTranslate-XT?
