• the plugin is fine, but there are a lot of spam ads in the dashboard because of it!

update: maintaining my initial rating, have a un-dismissable 5 star review notice.

update 2: the author has reached out and they are sorry for the spam and fixed the issue; I am currently testing on multiple websites and it seems to work very well with 20k+ products.

    Hi @rwky,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

We noticed your concern regarding the Black Friday promotional banner, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. The banner dismissal was not functioning correctly, and because of that, it kept reappearing even after being dismissed. Once we identified the issue, our team immediately removed the Black Friday promotional banner and released a new version of the plugin with the fix.

Please update the plugin to the latest version, and you will no longer see this banner.

If the issue is now resolved on your end, we would really appreciate it if you could consider updating or revising your 1-star review. Early negative reviews can significantly impact a new plugin, and your updated feedback would greatly help us.

If you ever experience any issues or need assistance, feel free to reach out anytime we’re always here to support you.

Thank you again for using our plugin!

    Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — we truly appreciate it.

We’d like to clarify that the notice you’re seeing is not a promotional or spam message. It’s a one-time consent notice designed to inform site owners about what limited technical data our plugin may collect (such as WordPress version, active theme, and plugin list) to help us improve compatibility and provide better support when issues arise.

If you’d prefer not to see the notice again, you can easily dismiss it by:

    • Clicking the “Allow” or “Decline” button, or
    • Clicking the “X” icon in the top-right corner of the notice see screenshot here

Once dismissed or responded to, it will not appear again.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we truly value your time and understanding. If you have any questions or suggestions, we’d be more than happy to help.

    Kind regards,

let’s not transform this review into a support thread, it’s not allowed. but to answer your question, I have already tried, it keeps reappearing. Had to modify the plugin to add an early return to the banner to not show again, waiting on a version that might work properly.
