I deactivated the ads for about four hours. I tried reactivating the ads but they aren’t showing. And I noticed the Google Adsense account says “open” instead of “active” since I deactivated everything.
I’ve tried re-inserting codes in header to get site showing ads again but that hasn’t worked. Not sure what to do.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi albertapressleader,

    thanks for reaching out.

I can see a manually and automatically placed ads on your homepage. The same positions don’t work on posts though.

Since the codes are identical and there are no errors, I can only guess that it is an automatic measure. Google AdSense currently blocks sites with invalid traffic and everything on your post pages looks like that is the case, however, I have not seen this happening for some pages and not others, yet.

You can try to place an ad code manually without Advanced Ads. If the behavior doesn’t change then the issue is with the AdSense account and I am not able to help.

    Best regards,
    Thomas

What is invalid traffic? Not sure what you mean. We get about 7,000 web hits a day so it can’t be not enough hits. Confused here.

    Hi albertapressleader,

“Invalid traffic” does not have anything to do with “not enough traffic”. This is how AdSense defines it:

Invalid traffic includes any clicks or impressions that may artificially inflate an advertiser’s costs or a publisher’s earnings. Invalid traffic covers intentionally fraudulent traffic as well as accidental clicks.

You can find the long version of the definition and additional information here in the AdSense Help.

    Best regards,
    Thomas
