I insert “AmazonAutoLinks( array( ‘id’ => 2451 ) );” for a category unit in my template but nothing shows. In chrome inspector, I see a comment generated in my code instead: “<!– Amazon Auto Links: Could not identify the unit type. Please make sure to update the auto-insert definition if you have deleted the unit. –>”
I also tried to use shortcode in the template “echo do_shortcode(‘[amazon_auto_links id=”2451″]’);”. The ads display, but it messes up with the queries and filters -facetwp- don’t work (page should refresh with ajax but doesn’t). Filters don’t work even when I refresh the page and filtering is in the page url.
I tried adding the code in archive and single custom post type and have the same problem.
    Thank you!

    Hi,

Does the unit with the ID 2451 still exist? You can check that by going to Dashboard -> Amazon Auto Links -> Manage Units and select the unit you want to display and click Edit. In the following page url, there is a part something like, post=[number] where [number] indicates the unit ID. So please double-check if the unit exists or not.

Or you can create a new test unit and see if the same problem occurs.

    Hi, thanks for your help.
I copy/paste the code from the unit list so the unit does exist. Tried it with 3 different units (category & search) and have the same problem. I installed to 3 different sites that have different theme and plugins with the same results. This must be some sort of incompatibility but I can’t figure it out…

    Hi,

Maybe you want to try a clean install on a test site. Create a test site with the default theme and with this plugin. Then see if the problem occurs. If doesn’t, switch to the theme you are using and see if the problem starts occurring. If still doesn’t, install plugins one by one which you use on your actual site. This way, you can determine which one causes a conflict.

    Let me know your result.
