    Hi Thomas,

I love your plugin and the flexibility that comes with your helpful application. But there is something I don’t understand.

I use the plugin TablePress to inject tables into posts of my website. In this tables I use several shortcodes of Advanced Ads and also of the plugin Shortcode Star Rating. Everything worked fine until I noticed that the cells with the Advanced Ads Shortcodes stay sometimes empty for not logged-in-users.

I am also running WP Rocket on my pages, but if I use the no-cache-paramter of WP Rocket in my URL slug, the ad is still not getting displayed. If I empty the WP Rocket cache, they come back again.

I searched in the support threads and in the documentations of TablePress and Advanced Ads for any ideas – without results. Do you have any ideas how to fix this issue or do you may be already now this problem from another support case?

Thanks in advance and keep on working on this great plugin!

    Hi raktravelguide,

    thanks for reaching out.

Not only WP Rocket, but also TablePress comes with some kind of caching, which means that if an ad is hidden for any reason, it might disappear for all other users as well.

The most common reason why ads suddenly disappear (and reappear again) is the “Hide ads from bots” option. It is disabled by default, but if you happen to have enabled it then it could lead to the problems you experience.

This page in our manual explains why I recommend leaving this option disabled and actually show ads to bots.

Please let me know if this helped.

    Hi Thomas,

Thanks for your quick reply. The issue is resolved.

The “Hide ads from bots” setting was the decisive difference. Ads appear in my tables now like they should.

Thanks a lot for your help!
