Hi @salvatore I’m sorry you had trouble disabling ads. It is possible to configure most options without an account, including the native ads. Instructions here – http://support.shareaholic.com/hc/en-us/articles/202462169-Why-are-there-ads-showing-in-Related-Content-

instead i see a big “lock” at first level.Maybe it required an account? Ok, but when i’ve installed i’ve installed without ads and without account required.
Cause of it, this is no more the same plugin and put automatically ads in my blog – without my permission – isn’t a great way to work!
sorry, great plugin before this changes.
now, after ads, i prefer to remove.@salvatore No account required. Try clicking on the “Want to disable ads/promoted content?” link.
i’ve try all, but locked icon still present in both blog and remove green flag from all ads but ads still present.
after of this i’ve removed. It should work if you click on “want to disable ads” and then redirect back to the page where the “lock” is gone. If you’d like we can take a closer look and it should be a quick fix – we’ll need the domain that the plugin is installed. If you don’t feel comfortable providing the domain here, please email jay at shareaholic.com. Happy to look it over for you if you’d like.

Lock icon and require action: make account! otherwise remain here (i’ve refresh, deactivate and reactivate plugin, remain here – now is gone… i’ve uninstalled).

but, really, i’m also a dev (a little dev) and isn’t a good way to put ads from default to all and require action to disable.
i know, is a great way to monetize after more than 100,000+ Active Installs. but whit this policy you lose more of this.regards,
S.N.If you click on “want to disable ads” it should take you to a page that doesn’t require an account and will remove the lock. Happy to help if you’d like, but need the domain to be able to investigate further 🙂 No worries, if you’ve already moved on!
