    Logged in to my site just to see a big banner on all admin pages promoting Yoast products.

    I understand that you want to sell your paid products and tolerate the ads on the plugin page, after all it’s a free plugin, but this is just too much.

    Yoast SEO is becoming bloated, some updates are buggy and can hurt sites a lot (like the bug that indexed all file pages a few months ago), and now apparently we also get ads on pages not related to this plugin.

    I miss the old, simpler “WordPress SEO”.

    We understand that the Black Friday banner was annoying. Although it was dismissable, it was a bit buggy so last Thursday we released Yoast SEO v12.6.2 which completely removes the banner from the admin panel.
