Hi, I need two information about the adrotate plugin.
    The first concerns dynamic ads.
I noticed that dynamic rotation only happens on desktop. On the other hand, on mobile the rotation remains fixed even if it is inserted. The query is activated
Does it depend on the free version or should it go with that too?

The second question concerns the insertion of ads by category. Is there a method to be able to do this on the sidebar as well besides posts?
I would like to be able to insert different side banners and outside the post for the various categories of the site
Now I can insert the widget or code, but clearly it always appears on all categories.
It would be perfect to be able to insert different codes that refer to different categories in the same box.
    To explain myself better:

Let’s say in an html box in the sidebar I enter
    [adrotate group=”1″]
    [adrotate group=”2″]
    [adrotate group=”3″]
Group 1 activates in category x
Group 2 activates in category y
Group 3 activates in category z

Even with the widget it would be fine.
Is there a method to do this?
With the pro version can these two situations be dusted off?

    Thank you

You can enable dynamic groups in Settings > General. Keep in mind though that due to the smaller screens people often will have scrolled away before the 2nd advert shows.

Take a look at post injection.

    Thank you for your answer.
I’ve already turned on dynamic groups. But it doesn’t work on mobile, on pc yes.
I tried checking with different browsers and different phones
But he pointed out one correct thing to me. So if they’re not dynamic on mobile devices that’s better.

Instead for the second question from what I’ve read it is possible to have different ads per category on the sidebar only with the widget, therefore with the pro version. Can you confirm this?

If so, I have a doubt.
With the codes, as in the example of the previous communication, in the same space (html box) I could fit more variants.
How do I get multiple widgets in the same spot to have different ad variations for different categories?
I try to give an example:
If I have space for 5 side banners and 20 categories and I want to display thematic banners per category (5 different banners for each category) with codes, I would insert 20 codes for each html box (5 boxes). Instead with plugins I can’t at least insert 5 different ones for each category (5×20). Unlikely.

I’m wrong? There is a solution?

    Thanks for the support

no plugins, widgets. Sorry. 5 widgets for 20 categories.

    Example 2:
5 categories and 5 banner spaces
To have 5 different groups of banners per category I would have to insert 25 widgets
    1) I don’t know if it’s possible
    2) it would be unmanageable
    With codes
5 html boxes and for each box 5 codes per ad group
I hope I was able to explain better

One more thing, returning to the mobile speech.
Some banners that I have inserted are gifs. Also in this case they work on the pc, but they don’t go on the mobile.

    thank you

If dynamic ads don’t work then usually there is some kind of adblocker active.
Disabling that should then fix the issue. It can also be a cache.

For the rest – I’m not sure what you’re trying to do.
With Post Injection you can show different groups in different categories. If you have AdRotate Pro that extends to widgets as well.

With a Widget Logic plugin or Jetpacks Widget Visibility module you can select which widget shows in which category. Perhaps that’s useful to you.
