Good evening. We are creating a new portal and we would like to create a hotel booking system using your plugin (also in PRO version). We would like to understand if and when you have planned an update to make the plugin compatible with the latest version of wordpress. The fact that there have been no updates for 7 months and or that you don’t respond to forum posts worries us a little.
    Thank you
    Best regards!

    Hi,

There isn’t a pro version. Jomres Core is free, you pay extra for plugins and support.

There hasn’t been a formal release for a while (I’ll do one soon, most likely), however it is still actively maintained and you can download the latest version of Jomres Nightly branch which, to the best of my knowledge works on WP latest.

Here you can see commits to the Nightly branch

And here are instructions on how to update a Jomres installation to the Nightly

    OK thanks
    I have other questions.
How often does the synchronization of internal calendars in Jomres with BEDS24 guarantee alignment?
Is synchronization allowed for all resources/structures (even multi vendor)?
    Best Regards

Sorry, I didn’t see your reply.

Synchronisation is a complex subject. You can have simple addition of bookings by importing from iCal files (you need the Jomres iCal plugin for that). This isn’t full synchronisation however because cancellations, changes etc aren’t spread to all connected channels however virtually all channels do support it.

Next you have full channel management, eg through Beds24. There are two methods of connecting to Beds24. If you are synchronising a property with multiple rooms (eg a hotel) then you’d use the Jomres Beds24 plugin. Using this method, Jomres becomes your main UI.

If, on the other hand you are renting out villas, apartments etc your best solution is to use the Beds24 REST API connectivity system which is managed via their UI.

For both methods, synchronisation happens virtually instantly.

There’s also the channel management framework here : http://www.jomres.net/manual/developers-guide-2/90-channel-management-framework
