 * Hi,
    I just installed wordpress for my website, I am able to login into admin
   mode by adding “wp-admin” to the url, but I am unable to view admin panel and
   also enable to edit or modify anything..please help

 * Have you added any plugins yet?
    if so try:
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) or whatever file management 
   application your host provides. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can 
   still cause problems.
 * Have you activated a new theme yet.
    if so try: – switching to the default theme
   by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients)
   or whatever file management application your host provides.

 * Thanks for the help, but this is my new installation..Actually, a month before
   I installed wordpress, then unistalled later installed joomla, then uninstalled
   joomla as well, and now i am back to wordpress..I tried re-installing also..but
   no solution..please help 🙁

 * did you reset the plugin folder and switched to the default theme? Did this make
   any difference?
 * try also:
    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a **fresh**
   download of WordPress?

 * I didnt installed any plugins..just did a fresh install of wordpress..and as 
   per the given instructions when I went to reset the plugin there is no _active\
   _plugin_ in my phpMyadmin.. I installed directly using fantastico deluxe..

 * Maybe you should try a manual update of a fresh download with FTP
