I am not seeing this issue directly, but my client is. See our discussion below:

Can you view calendar events on the website (as a normal visitor) when you click on events in the sidebar?
    YES

Can you view calendar events on the website (as a normal visitor) when you click on events on the calendar page?
YES – The box appears and gives you all the information on the event.

Can you add events to the calendar (as an administrator)?
NO – The top bar of the box to add an event appears but not the rest of the box where you actually put the information. So the only thing you can do is X out of the box.

I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to ajax. Are there any specific settings that would prevent her from being able to add to the calendar like that?

    Thanks so much!

Please search the forum before posting issues, you’ll likely find they’ve already been discussed. In the long run, adding duplicate threads makes it that much more difficult to find what you’re looking for.

    Thanks,

That isn’t the same issue. They only had a problem when they were trying to add events to the calendar…not view them.

I don’t use IE so I’m not familiar with all of it’s quirks. Just the ones I hear about from other people. She told me that she clicked the ‘compatibility’ button and the issue was resolved.

    Thanks! 🙂

It’s the same issue, IE does strange things with the ajax content both on the front-end and back-end. I’m glad she was able to resolve the issue on her own, because I don’t have a clear path for addressing the issue otherwise.
