  • To the WordPress Support Team,

Despite my not very correct English, I would like to say few words about some problems that I’m getting through WordPress platform:

Months ago I’ve lost my connection with WordPress at , which is a, but a friend of mine solved the problem and reinstalled everything that was saved on my ftp back up, but in Portuguese language, rather than English that would be my choice.

Since then I couldn’t manage to fix the language even updating to newer versions.
Now I’ve opened a new blog account, which works fine, and found out that there are new tools and commands that I don’t have access and when I try to update WordPress comes the following message:
“You are not allowed to call this page directly.”

    What didn’t happens before.

Question: Is it possible to start all over again? At least in an English based platform with the new applications that WP is offering?

I know where to change languages and before, it used to works fine in, but now it doesn’t show any of those options there as it does in the new account I can keep the for testings and even for further publications in other areas but my main blog now is and I would like to have those options. I do understand that there are a difference between .org and .com, however would it affect the tools and the platform behavior? I don’t think so, since my previous experience shows another thing.
    Thanks for your help,
    Marcio Koprowski

with regard to your current problems, I’d suggest a complete re-install but ensure that you either delete or empty your database first (after making a backup copy, of course).
