I upgraded my adminimize plug-in from 1.7.2 to 1.7.4 and my site gives me a fatal memory error when I try to access the home page.

I downgraded to 1.7.2 and it works fine now. So something in 1.7.4 isn’t working.

I’m fine continuing to use 1.7.2, but thought I’d post the problem I was having in case others have a similar issue.

I don’t remember the specific error, but it was similar to

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of XXX bytes exhausted (tried to allocate XXX bytes) in /XXX.php on line X.

I got that error on my homepage and in the frontend and it occurred after upgrading. I put the older version, 1.7.2 back up and it worked fine then.

Yes, I keep getting this very same problem if I login as a ‘contributer’ and have set some restrictions for the ‘contributer’ role. It was happening on the dashboard and when trying to add a new post.

It is some kind of conflict with other plugins, one of which being Akismet! I’ve had to disable a few plugins in order to get this to work but it would be great if there was a fix for it.
