adminbar misalignment problem, with buddypress

  • Running 3.4.2 with the latest buddypress

    Website:

The toolbar is pushing down my whole website, but i want it to cover the website instead. When the toolbar is disabled there is no gap between the breadcrumbs area (Top Stories, and Latest news) and the front page featured image. Im pretty sure the height of the toolbar is the same height as that gap so if i can have it covering my page rather then pushing it down it will solve the problem. I also have to make sure the toolbar isnt edited on my back end so it doesnt cover my dashboard, etc.

*also the whole bar before the featured image is a whole layered element and is covering the page.
