    Hi!

    I changed the admin email addresses, but WPForm notification is still sent from the old one.

    WordPress 5.7.2
    WP Mail SMTP 3.0.3
    WPForms Lite 1.6.8.1

    I’ve changed:
    WordPress
    [Users] -> admin user -> new@example.com (verified)
    WP Mail SMTP
    [General] -> [From Email] -> new@example.com
    [Tools] -> [Send to] -> new@example.com (Email test success)

    I’ve tried:
    WPForms Lite
    [All forms] -> form -> [Notifications] -> [From Email] -> new@example.com
    => It works.
    After that, I switched new@example to {admin_email}.
    Then, the notification is sent from old@example.com.

    Is there anything that I should change the settings?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

    Admin email and email address of the admin user are 2 different emails. Yeah, I know, that’s confusing, but that’s how WordPress works.

    Email address of the admin user is modified on the “Users > Profile” page.
    Admin email is modified on the Settings > General page (the option is called “Administration Email Address”).

    Our {admin_email} smart tag uses the latter value.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi Slava,

    Thank you for your reply, I found it and made it!
    I didn’t notice those two different “admin” emails.

    That helps a lot. Thanks again 🙂
