# admin wp_enqueue

 * Just thinking aloud without to much research.
 * Feature or just general request. Would be nice if developers enqueue’d their 
   styles and scripts when they are needed in the admin, rather than what seems 
   like general practice for all the time.
 * Would certainly go a long way to improving performance in some cases, same could
   be said for the frontend, but that’s wishful thinking at this stage and probably
   a tonne of considerations would be taken into account, including doing due-diligence
   when selecting a plugin.
 * There is obviously countless hours devoted to making WordPress performance outstanding,
   so why not force plugin authors follow suit somewhat.

 * Two reasons: Manpower and accuracy.
 * We simply don’t have the man power to ensure that all plugins do that properly.
   We do our best to catch them and tell them “Hey, only enqueue when you NEED to
   enqueue” but the enforceability of that would be impossible.
 * On top, we have the issue of ‘accuracy’ by which I mean did we tell them to enqueue
   on the right pages? That requires an incredible intimacy of knowledge with the
   plugin and exactly what it’s supposed to do in order to get it right.
 * So at this time, it’s not possible. Wish it was 🙁
