Hey Lee,
Sounds like you need to update your roles with WPBB. Goto your admin dashboard -> WPBB -> Tools -> Refresh Roles.
In the next version it’ll let you know if you need to update your roles.

Well, I already tried that 100 times and again since you replied. Still no luck.
When I go to the one forum I created, I can’t set any permissions for roles other than guest. I can check the box but they only save for Guest (which is the only one in bold). So, only guests can post or view in that there.

Even when I create a new forum I am unable to set permission for roles other than guest.

I actually sent you an email back and was waiting for a reply. The problem is because of a plugin you used before I’m guessing a gallery or role plugin which for some reason has renamed your roles. Nothing to do with WPBB. Would you be able to give me access to phpMyAdmin or a similar tool? If not I can explain to you how to do it yourself, again my email is me@codebycarter.com

Resolved. Some previous plugin had modified the user roles names in the database so I had to manually change it. Will probably add a tool to the plugin in the future in case this ever happens to anybody else
