# Admin vs Editor

 * I think it’s very “plug and play” to use … but I just have one question.
   When
   using it, we’ve noticed that you need to be an administrator to upload images.
   Is it possible to change that somewhere so that a user with the “Editor” role
   can upload images instead?

 * The upload dropzone on the gallery edit page is using the built in WP uploader,
   and the checks for permissions are done inside core.
 * Set **FooGallery -> Settings -> General -> Admin -> Gallery Creator Role** to**
   Editor**. If it still fails, check whether the Editor role has upload_files and
   can edit_post for that gallery
