Admin user (only user) Doesn't have editing capabilities.

Hi, I uploaded a theme, Kingsize, and I am now trying to add content for the first time. I don’t have any plugins active. I am the only user and I am the Administrator, but when I go to make a new page or a new portfolio and hit the “Save Draft” button, I am directed to a webpage that only says “You are not allowed to edit this post”.

I tried to change my user type to “Editor”, but it says I cannot edit users.

When I try to add media, it doesn’t add anything after it gets to “Crunching” on the upload image status.
