    I am an administrator for a WordPress site and everything for me is ok in the admin area. However, there are other administrators for the site and when they add/edit a post the do not get the same options as I do.
    They only get the Text Editor, The Events Calendar (Plugin), Comments, Revisions and All in One SEO Pack (Plugin) whereas I get all the aforementioned and also Excerpt, Send Trackbacks, Custom Fields, Discussion and Author.
    If we are all administrators shouldn’t we all get the same options?
    I have tried changing the posts authors but it makes no difference, I always get everything and everybody else gets fewer options.
    I have checked the data in the wp_usermeta table in MySQL and we are all set to wp_capabilities – a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;s:1:”1″;}
    Anybody have any idea what is going on?
    I want all administrators to have all options.

  • If you do not see these panes, tell them to click Screen Options and tick the appropriate boxes on any Edit Post/Edit page.

    Fantastic, thanks. I didn’t realise that the ‘options’ in the Screen Options dropdown change with context.
