    Having trouble with email notifications being sent, both to the Admin and New Users.

    I’ve been trying every setting available in the plugin’s settings to try and fix this – the admin isn’t receiving email notifications when a new user registers (or is waiting for verification). Everything else with the plugin seems to be working but the email notification options.

    “New User Message Settings”
    is enabled and none of the “Do NOT send” boxes are checked, yet new users aren’t receiving that default email.
    “Admin Notification Settings” is enabled, none of the “Do NOT send” boxes are checked, yet admin is receiving no emails regarding new user registrations. Admin is however, receiving notifications when a user request a password change, but I think that’s outside of the plugin functions (part of wp).

    I also had “Send administrator an email after a new user is verified” checked, and that’s not working either. I’m not using the very first “Verify all new users email address…” option, but even when I do, emails still aren’t being sent.

    I’m on the latest version of the plugin and wp. Any suggestions?

    Sorry for the delay, I haven’t had the opportunity to test this out yet. I feel like there must be something more specific to your setup or I’d be getting a lot more emails/forum posts about this issue. I always dread this question, but what other plugins are you using? The following plugin should generate a nice debug log, WordPress Debug. You may email that to me radiok at if you feel uncomfortable posting that information here.

    I have something similar – I just installed the plugin and configured it to verify email address.

    I registered a test user and fairly promptly got the admin email and just as I was thinking the user email was not going to arrived, it did (much later than the admin one).

    So – first query is – why such a delay when I would have thought they would have gone at the same time?

    Secondly, the user email didn’t show the link hyperlinked – but if I edit email with a carriage return it turns into a link – so I thought I would edit the email by selecting custom email and all I did was put a carriage return after the verification link and then I registered another user (I also set admin to customised too).

    I still got the admin one fairly promptly (and customised) but this time no user mail at all.

    I would like to add that I did eventually receive the emails – but an hour or two after the admin email.

    Why would the user’s ‘verification email’ be so delayed compared to the admin’s ‘new user registered’ email?



    Same problem as above but no emails to admin or test user. Any new info here?

    I’ve just installed RPR and have the same problem….. No email at all. So any idea what it can be?

    Same here – I’m using Windows and MS SQL. Could that be the issue?

    Having the same problems.

    I had the same problem and found it was a conflict with Theme My Login (TML). In TML, I enabled Custom Emails and that sorted the problem for me. If you don’t have TML, it may be a conflict with another plugin that supports custom emails.
