# Admin unable to create Admin

 * Hi,
 * I would like to create a second admin account and I am now unable to (from the
   first admin account). I found code snippets from other posts about editing admin
   accounts, but nothing has allowed me to create a new admin user. Any help would
   be appreciated.
 * Also, any thoughts on how to allow editors to promote others to editor would 
   be appreciated, too.

 * In general you just assign the ‘Administrator’ role to the selected user and 
   get new admin. Do you see ‘Administrator’ role at the roles drop-down list at
   the user profile? If you don’t try to deactivate all plugins and check again.
 * In order user may manage other users his role should include at least: list_users,
   create_users, edit_users, delete_users.
