Admin UI not visible past 1.8.7

    Have an interesting one here – two sites, both with the same version of CF7, same version of Conditional Fields (1.9.4). On one site, which is running WP 5.4.1, there are no issues with the admin UI in the “conditional fields” tab of a CF7 form. On 5.4.2, the checkbox for “text fields” is unstyled (check instead of slider), and checking/unchecking the box doesn’t do anything. Rules are not visible in graphic or text form.

    To get my rules saved I had to open the web inspector (Chrome) and uncheck “display: none” for the textarea. I then pasted the field data in and saved. On subsequent loads of this form in the backend, I could see my data in the textarea in the inspector (still not showing in the UI).

    No errors at all in chrome’s console though, so…

    If I roll back to the old UI (1.8.7), everything works.

    note: also just updated the staging site that was on 5.4.1 to 5.4.2 and can’t reproduce…

    Any errors in your console? Seems like I was able to reproduce this on one of my sites that is running the WP nightly builds. Error seems to be related to jQueryUI.

    Any additional information about your configuration and dev console that might be related to this would be welcome.

    It turned out to be a problem with the Gutenberg plugin. When I disable the plugin everything is back to normal. Will report the issue to the Gutenberg team

    Do you have any idea why I’d see this on one site and not the other? Same theme, plugins, WP version, but different host (not working on flywheel, was working on our own self-hosted staging server). And nothing in the console, which was puzzling…

    Very strange indeed. Let me know if you can reproduce. To be honest, I don’t have a clue, but my hunch is that it might have been a caching problem?
