That’s a known limitation of this plugin. It can only change the admin menu.

The admin menu and the admin bar/toolbar have some menus that link to the same pages, but “under the hood” they’re pretty different: they have different settings, different structure, different content (though there’s obviously some overlap), and WordPress stores them separately. It would take more work and more code to make it possible to remove menus from both places at once.

One way to remove a menu item, link, or button from multiple places at once would be to remove the capability associated with that menu from the role in question. For example, only roles that have the edit_pages capability can see the “Pages -> Add New” admin menu and the “New -> Page” admin bar menu. Remove this capability from a role and both menus should disappear. You can find the required capability in the menu editor or in the WordPress documentation. However, keep in mind that some capabilities are associated with multiple menus, so you could end up removing more menus than you wanted.

You can add/remove capabilities with any role editing plugin. For example:

Are you still supporting the Toolbar Editor plugin which comes with the Admin Editor Pro Agency license?

Yes, Toolbar Editor is still supported.

Note: In the future, please use the contact form or email for questions related to the Pro version. It’s against WordPress.org forum rules to use these forums to provide support for paid plugins.
