Admin toolbar icons missing – How to fix
-
Continuation of http://wordpress.org/support/topic/admin-toolbar-icons-missing for those who are still searching for a fix.
The issue is that after a script or stylesheet becomes minified, it makes relative-path references to files. Since the cached minified script is included by default at
/wp-content/plugins/bwp-minify/min/
, the relative paths translate to a directory other than what they were intended. This is not an issue with BWP Minify itself – there is a box to exclude scripts from minification within the settings page at
/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=bwp_minify_general
. Administrators must either adapt plugins to include resources from higher-level relative or absolute paths or exclude the script from minification entirely.Enter the script handle in the exclusion boxes to prevent misdirected resource paths.
Where to find script “handles”:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_enqueue_scriptMore script exclusion info:
http://betterwp.net/wordpress-plugins/bwp-minify/#positioning-your-scriptsIf somebody can recall what the handle is for the WP admin bar script, post it here (my memory fails me).
