Admin to post comment as different user?

    I have a website which is used as a CMS and I want to be able to post on posts from the admin account but assign the posts automatically to other admin accounts.

    If you can imagine a post is an order and the order will go through different stages: received, quoted, invoiced….

    I created accounts for all these different stages on my wordpress installation and I want to login as admin but post as for example: invoiced account. I know I can change the author of the comment in the backend but I was wondering if it’s possible to do it in the front end… something like a dropdown to display ALL ADMIN accounts that I can choose from when posting a comment (in my case and update on the order).

    Is this possible with the free or the paid options?

    Hi @gamark,
    I’m really sorry but it’s not possible to do that on front-end. There is no any way to add it with a simple code.

    This would be a great feature however. The application I just mentioned above would make your comment plugin number 1, unless it is already :).

    Well… I have a working solution. I hired one of the developers that works for me and he made a separate plugin that integrates with your commenting system and does exactly what I said above. Meaning: any admin can post as another admin account any comment. This is as I said very useful when the admin accounts serve as part of a process flow (e.g. marketing response, sales follow-up, technical support, etc).

    I am happy to give it to you for free if you are willing to integrate this feature as free feature into your plugin for all the users.

    Would that work?
