admin sidebar width

  • Somehow I minimised the admin sidebar. Could anybody please tell me how do get the original sidebar back? I mean the one with “post” and “pages” and “appearance” as text with dropdowns, now it’s all just icons.

  • Double click on a ‘break line’. Option 99 of 100…

Between sections there is an arrow (->), click it.

Yes on 2.8 atleast can’t remember on 2.7 there is a small circle with an arrow on it on the left of the sidebar. I can imagine anyone with vision issues might not find this quickly!

Yesterday I noticed another thing with that admin sidebar. It would be great if I could rearrange the buttons, so I can put the buttons that I never use to the bottom. In FireFox it looks like I can drag and drop them, but I can drag, not drop. IE doesn’t even drag. Something for a future release perhaps?
