Admin placing manual orders via frontend

Good Morning, I hope i am in the correct place to ask this question.

Prior to updating to the latest version of Woo and other plugins, i was able to be logged in as admin, go to the front end via the “visit Store” tab and place an order as if i was the customer, i was able to use their details, including their email address and then continue all the way to paypal to make payment for them. When payment completed it would take me back to my site and i was then able to click back into admin dashboard.

I placed orders this way as it was easier to add coupons when needed and it just worked.

My question is should i have been able to do this?? as now that i have updated and try and place the order this same way i get a message saying email address is already registered. So i dont know if my site was broken before the update and the update fixed this or if since the update this is a function no longer available.

I am new to forums I hope i am in the correct place to ask this question. If i am not could someone please tell me where i should be to get help
