• Hi everyone,

I have been racking my brain with this one for two days. I am building a new site (not currently online) and wanted to play around with the Lensa (available here) theme since it seems quite nice. My site does have my stuff imported from my old site, so there is currently some content – just blogs and photo galleries.

It appears to install just fine, but once I activate it, I can no longer access any pages in WP-admin other than the login, upgrade and install php’s. All I see is a blank white page. My only way to recover the admin was to update the theme back to something else in my database. I have tried the following:

-reinstalled wordpress (using the automated option under Updates)
    -disabled all plugins
    -delete/reinstalled the theme
-went through numerous solutions online including checking functions.php and a few others for extra spaces and lines (I have not touched ANY of these files until I started troubleshooting this issue).
-I enabled debug options to display error messages, for which none are displayed with this issue
    -restarted apache service
-as far as I know all plugins and WordPress, and even my OS (Ubuntu 13 x86) are all on the latest versions.

This issue only occurs with the Lensa theme, I’ve tried several others and they all work just fine.

Has anyone seen this and possibly have some ideas on the cause?

    Thank you!
    Greg

  • I’m sorry but as you are using a non-WPORG theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from wordpress.org here.
