Admin page only occasionally loading

    Hi, I just installed wordpress and the blog itself works fine.
    However, after I log in I am greeted with a blank page and similarly if I try to load /wp-admin/ or click on the link to admin I get nothing.
    While I can for some reason still access the rest of admin by clicking edit post, which takes me to a working dashboard, I can’t load the index.php of it.
    Could anyone think of any reasons/solutions for this?

    Have you installed any plugins? If so, have you tried deactivating them all?

    Hi,

    Check with options:

    -> Disable all the plugins either from database or rename the plugins directory from FTP. Enable it one by one to find out the culprit.

    -> Upgrade your wordpress to the latest version

    -> Change your theme to default to rules out theme level issues.

    Hi! Thanks for the suggestions but I don’t have any plugins installed and it’s the latest version of wordpress (downloaded and installed literally today). I don’t think it’s to do with the theme either, because I’ve changed between several ones and had the problem each time.

    The page for privacy settings also doesn’t work…

    Have you tried the default theme?

    Yep, was still on that theme when I first found the problem.
