    I’m using WordPress 2.0.4

I can’t see the plus/minus buttons of the elements in the “Write” Administration. Similar problem: fade-out window doesn’t work (e.g. when (de)activating a plugin).

I had the same blog working on localhost with Apache and all these functions were working, so it not depends on the browser. Any idea?

    Thank you

    is it something with java?

admin drop down menu plugin also doesn’t work.

Common denominator to all of these things is Javascript. Are you sure you haven’t disabled javascript in the browser options?

Hi YellowSwordfish, thank you for answering!

Javascript is active (Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.7)
In other places similar things are working… For example the fading colours when I add/remove a tag to this topic.
Is it possible that it depends from the server where my blog is hosted?

Are you running any FF extensions that might selectively block javascript based on server? (adBlock maybe?)

hm.. no, it seems I don’t have any extension installed

The same happens with other browsers and from other computers. Strange?

Hm… Apparently it’s not a general javascript problem. I found that the file “inline-uploading.php” is also using javascript for the same file “post.php” and they work fine (sent to editor, close options etc.).

Could it be something related to the structure/location?

Ok, I still don´t know where the mistake was, but I solved the problem by upgrading WP to 2.0.5. Thanks
