Hey there!
This menu entry should be hidden if the plugin is active. Can you confirm what version of WordPress and Disable Blog you’re running?
Thanks,

Hey Joshua,
i tried Disable Blog on a fresh installation and it works.
On my test installation is (besides others) installed:
Wordpress 4.9.8
Disable Blog 0.4.3
The upper blogging menu disappears, options-writing is shown and redirects to options-general. ATM i cant give you more helpful information.
By the way i want to ask you if the module disables the update service pingomatic when activated?

I re-checked this issue. This happens in conjunction with Disable Comments. If i enable it (with the option “everywhere” set) the options-writing entry appears. To be more precise you have to enable at least the option “for sites”.
Awesome, that gives me some good information, sounds like a conflict with that plugin. I’m assuming you meant “Disable” Comments?
I’ll work on a fix and try to push an update this week.
Hey there, I just pushed version 0.4.4 out, which includes some styling to hide this Settings > Writing menu. This appears to solve the issue on my end, let me know if you have further issue!
Thanks,
Joshua

Hello,
With the new WP 5 i use ‘Classic Editor’ plugins for not use Gutenberg, but ‘Classic Editor’ introduce 2 option in /Options/Writing for change settings. How i can restore this menu or option can be added for see /Options/Writing ?
Thanks

Thanks for pointing this out! I haven’t had a chance to test/update the plugin for v5.0 – but this is something I’ll have done this week.
In the short term, you should deactivate the plugin, update your option, then re-activate the plugin.
I’ll try to have a plugin update by the end of the week with a fix for this and any other changes necessary.
Thanks,
Joshua
