# Admin menu item missing

 * Any ideas what could cause Downloads menu item in admin menu to be missing completely?
   The plugin is activated and it’s settings can be accessed and file downloads 
   are working in frontend.

 * I’m guessing this is due to a plugin conflict. How are you accessing the download
   settings?

 * I tried to deactivate many of the plugins, but it did not help. I accessed the
   plugin settings via the Plugins listing (there is a Settings link there).
 * I manually made a custom admin menu item that linked to a custom page on admin
   that listed all the plugin’s pages. I guess that works but is not as elegant 
   a solution 🙂
