The new admin menu item is a colored icon and sticks out like a sore thumb in my admin menu bar.

It also hasn’t any submenu items which means it doesn’t belong there at all.

I appreciate the work your are doing on Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions. I would appreciate it even more if your plugin plays nicely with WordPress and other plugins and not claim a special place in my WordPress installation.

The proper place is the Tools menu.

I totally agree. I don’t really see why this would need to have it’s own menu item. I install this plugin for a lot of my users and this menu item will probably scare them.

Awesome plugin in every other way though! 🙂

    Hey guys,

    Thanks for the feedback!

I just released version 3.1.3 of the plugin.

It solves your issue by making the icon in the admin menu optional:
you can switch it on or off on the settings page now.

So, I hope everyone is happy again! 😉
