Could you please elaborate on what your problem is, exactly? What is wrong with the plugin – is there an error message of some kind, is the plugin not showing up, is the settings page not working, or something else?

One common cause for confusion is trying to find the plugin in the network admin. It will only show up in site admin panels, under Settings -> Menu Editor.

I have installed plugin with create mu-plugin folder in wp-content and move admin-menu-editor directory and admin-menu-editor-mu.php file in to mu-plugin. But plugin is not showing up neither admin section of all subsite nor in network admin and also settings page not working for subsites.

Please help as soon as possible……

The folder name should be mu-plugins, not mu-plugin. Please double-check that the name is correct.

Yes it is mu-plugins…..But still not showing

Sorry, I don’t know what else to suggest. Nobody else has reported anything like that before. Perhaps you could try deleting and reinstalling the plugin?

Do you mean that the plugin shows up in the “Plugins” section of the network admin (under “Must-Use”), but the “Settings -> Menu Editor” menu item doesn’t show up on subsites?

    Yes,
Please give me full solution of this problem..

Sorry, there is not enough information to come up with a solution. So far, we have eliminated a few possibilities – incorrect directory names or file names, missing plugin file headers – but we still don’t know what actually caused the problem.

Are there any recent error messages in your PHP error log? Do any of them mention this plugin?

I have installed new version of plugin. There is no possibilities of incorrect directory or file name whereas i followed step by step instruction according to multiSite installation of plugin. There is no error message are coming from my end.

Indeed, which is why I said those possibilities have been eliminated.

There is no error message are coming from my end.

Do you mean there are no messages in the PHP error log? None at all?

I’m running into the same issue. In my wp-config the WPMU_PLUGIN_DIR and WPMU_PLUGIN_URL were not present so I added those, but it didn’t seem to help (maybe I did it wrong). Basically, once I put the admin menu folder in the mu-plugins folder, it’s like wordpress doesn’t see it at all. No errors that I can find or anything.

it’s weird. it works for all sites, but I can’t configure it from the network admin. i have to configure it from a site.

That’s completely normal. Menu settings will never show up in the network admin. You can only access them from a site. This is due to certain technical peculiarities in the way that WordPress implements admin menus.

    Hi,
We work with Ad Menu Editor Pro.
When we deselect some menue for a rolle in Ad Menu Editor Pro it doesn’t work. Later you will see the deselected menues again on admipage of the rolle.
What can we do to solve the problem?
