 * I have a WordPress site that I designed for a friends church and I’m trying to
figure out the best way to install and configure an alert system for them to
use. I created a page for “Member News” that the future owner will edit once
a week. The owner wants to be able to add subscribers to the is page so that
members will get an email alert if something is posted. I installed the “Subscribe2”
plug-in and if they change the page status to Draft and re-publish an alert will
go out to everyone subscribed. The problem is the email addresses he adds via
the Dashboard only receive excerpts, not the content of the whole page. To receive
the whole page, each person would have to subscribe manually to the blog and
configure their subscriber notifications (something we were trying to avoid).
 * Is there any other plug-in that would accomplish what we’re looking for, or is
this the best way. Keep it mind, that the audience for this site is middle-aged
to elderly and not exactly super net-saavy.
