# Admin malfunctions

 * Hi
 * I am continuously having admin malfunctions on my site. When I try to write a
   new post, the admin page goes blank and the usual area for writing a post isn’t
   there. I am never able to install a plugin automatically, I always have to do
   it manually and then whenever I try to activate a plugin I get this message:
 * Error 500- Internal Server error
 * I have several sites with WP 3.0 and this is the only one giving me issues. How
   do I fix these errors?
 * The site giving me trouble is market.cprofits.net

 * WordPress Troubleshooting 101
    Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a **fresh** download
   of WordPress?
 * – increasing the available memory?

 * Thanks, I was able to solve the issue by deactivating the plugins
