    Hi.
    Context:
    I moved my WordPress files and my database from my localhost to my remote host using filezilla. I setup database and files on remote server using cpanel.
    I followed some steps given in an article to move from localhost to live
    I also did some troubleshooting following the steps of another article on how to fix wordpress login issue

    Problem I need help with
    However I am still facing the same issue. I am not able to access my wordpress admin login.

    The web browser takes me to my homepage content but when I click on login, it shows 404 page not found error. All other menu tabs on the homepage have the same issue. The “HOME” tab takes me to the localhost

    Which files and items should I check?
    Any other helpful article that I should look at to find a solution to this?

    Will appreciate any help.

    Thanks.
    TH

  • Hello,
    Can you share the site URL? Did you also change Site Address (URL) and the WordPress Address (URL)?
    Add these two lines to your wp-config.php, where “example.com” is the correct location of your site.

    define(‘WP_HOME’,’http://example.com’);
    define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’http://example.com’);

    Thanks for trying to help.
    Yes, I did that too.

    Decided to reinstall the site using Duplicator plugin.
    Worked well.

    Lovely
