Support » Fixing WordPress » Admin Login Issue

  • We have a WordPress on our root working just fine.

    We have a separate WordPress install in a sub folder for a separate blog.

    The client for some ridiculous reason decided to go into the “General Settings” of the separate blog and change the Site Address to the root address, meaning when we try to access the admin for the separate blog it takes us to the Root Admin. So we cant change it back.

    I added the following to the wp-config.php file in the separate blog:

    define(‘WP_SITEURL’, ‘http://sitename/separate’);
    define(‘WP_HOME’, ‘http://sitename/separate’);

    This allowed me to view the correct Admin Login, but now our User and Login doesn’t work.

    Now the user Im trying to use is the developers login and not the admin, ive asked him to get me those details but i was wondering in the mean time if anyone could shed some light on the situation.
