I logged into update a page today after upgrading WordFence to 6.3.6 yesterday, and I am now getting a 500 error for pages in the admin. I am also seeing this with all other plugins turned off, and using the Twenty Sixteen theme. I am also unable to run new scans. Any ideas?

    Hello Jeffrey,

Unfortunately you have sent me the PHP error log. I will need the server error log to see what is causing the 500 error response code. If you are not sure where to find it please ask your hosting provider and they will be able to help you locate it.

    Hello Jeffrey,

Apologies for the late reply, I have been extremely busy!

Can I ask you to work with your hosting provider and temporarily disable Mod_Security – you should be able to do this in your hosting account control panel.

Let me know please if this stops the 500 error response code when you try to access admin pages.

    Hello,

Thanks for providing feedback that the hosting provider increased your PHP memory limit and this solved the problem for you.
