I upgraded to 2.5 using the automatic upgrade plug-in. Everything seems to be okay, that is until I tried logging in today. I log in, but then I am presented with a completely blank page. No error messages, just a blank page. If I go to http://www.mydomain.com/blog/wp-admin/edit.php then everything is kosher.

I was having the same issue, and I got mine to work again by following step 7: Delete the old WordPress files & upload new- . However, I did not use the automatic upgrade plug-in.

    Hi,

I had the same issue when upgrading to 2.5.

I solved it just deleting the 'dashboard_widget_options' value in wp_options table.

    Hope it helps.

Hi, I'm really new with wordpress, but where can I delete the 'dashboard_widget_options' that sgon mentioned?

I get the following error message after I try to login to my admin page:

Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/soapaffa/public_html/purple-firefly.com/blog/wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php on line 46

    Please help. Thanks in advance.
