    I attempted an upgrade from 1.5 to 2.02. When I run the upgrade with upgrade.php, I receive the following error…
    “Fatal error: Cannot redeclare check_admin_referer() (previously declared in /home/username/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable-functions.php:228) in /home/usernamep/public_html/wp-admin/admin-functions.php on line 468”

    I can’t find any information about this error. Can anyone offer any assistance? I’d be greatly appreciative.

    Usually an error like that means there are some leftover old files that weren’t completely deleted. Try the detailed upgrade instructions here (key part: deleting all the old files except .htaccess, wp-config.php, the wp-content directory, and any others listed there that might apply to you).
