Support » Plugin: WordPress FAQ Plugin - WPWorx » admin.css is loaded on all admin pages

Please load the /wpworx-faq/css/admin.css file only on necessary admin pages. Now it unnecessarily distorts the design of different pages, for example the Appearance->Themes page, see this screenshot, or the whole settings page for the WooCommerce Multi-Step Checkout plugin, see this topic.

  • Also, when registering a CSS file, please use a more specific handle (slug) than “admin_css”. The handle is used on the whole website and it can overwrite or be overwritten by another plugin which registers its admin CSS file with the same handle.

I don’t have an example of another plugin that uses the exact “admin_css” handle. I’m only pointing out that this is a programming practice that will lead to conflicts with other plugins.

From the wp_register_style function reference page: ” $handle (string) (required) Name of the stylesheet (which should be unique as it is used to identify the script in the whole system) Default: None”
